2. How does AG develop their products? AG products are developed in house by a full time research chemist with a master's degree in chemistry. Products are formulated, and then tested on human hair mannequin heads. Once products are of a quality that meets AG's high standards, they are sent to a team of stylists across North America to test and critique, allowing final reformulation to occur and ultimately culminating in a top performing professional product.

3. Does AG guarantee their products? AG will 100% guarantee the performance of all of our products. Simply return the product to the salon you purchased with a receipt and you will receive a refund or exchange (depending on the store's policy). Product not purchased through a professional salon is not guaranteed by AG hair cosmetics.

4. How can I find where to get AG? If you cannot find AG in your area, please e-mail us at info@aghaircosmetics.com and let us know where you live. We will put you in touch with our closest point of distribution.

5. Can I buy AG at the drugstore/grocery store? No, AG is only available through licensed, professional salons. This enables us to guarantee the quality of our products.

6. Why should I buy professional salon products instead of drugstore? The ingredients used in professional salon products are generally better quality and are more concentrated than drugstore offerings. This means the effect on your hair is better and the results will be longer lasting. AG shampoos for instance are not thickened with sodium chloride, common table salt, which dries the hair and scalp (AG products are naturally thicker because we use less water).

7. How much product should I use in my hair? The amount of product you should use varies on how much hair you have. With that in mind, less is always more. AG uses the highest quality ingredients, so there is no need to over apply.

8. aren’t all AG shampoos sulfate-free? many people are very happy with the gentle, sulfate formula in AG’s existing shampoos. they were formulated and tested numerous times before being introduced to you and will not strip colour-treated hair. sulfate-free formulas are typically more expensive to produce and therefore more expensive to the end user. however, we’re happy to provide the option to consumers with our colour savour sulfate-free shampoo.

9. what makes AG sulfates better than most? many shampoos contain sodium lauryl sulfate which can be extremely drying to the hair and scalp. at AG we use the far milder and gentler sodium laureth sulfate and ammonium laureth sulfate as primary surfactants in most of our shampoos.

10. How can I get my hair to look like one of the models featured on the website? The best way to achieve the looks featured on this website is to seek out a professional stylist who can create the cut and advise you on what AG products you will need in your regimen to achieve the finished style.
